Two Photographers, always.

Here at BOOM Weddings we don’t offer a package with just one photographer, that’s not because we believe that one photographer isn’t capable of photographing a wedding, they can, and they will quite often produce beautiful images from your BIG day. However, from our years of experience, we’ve found that it’s a lot less stressful for us and more importantly for you. We are confident that no scene will go untold and you can rest with that reassurance. We’re conscious about being competitive with our prices and so we are sure that you will not find the same quality service with two photographers cheaper elsewhere, we’ve checked!

Two photographers means that you get to re live more moments that you missed on the day. The laughs and first time meetings, all the joy, the happy tears shared between family and friends. Those distant cousins meeting your other half for the first time, grandparents holding their beloved grand children. All the camaraderie between old and new friends. Groomsmen getting the pints in and that moment everyone realises that Nan may have had one too many... You only do it once, blink and the moment is missed, but rest assured, we will be there to capture it all.

Your wedding day is one day, but it’s two stories being told, about how two people, two lives and two families with two lots of friends meet. Yes , of course it’s all about YOU, and don’t worry IT IS ALL ABOUT YOU, but there’s so much happening around you and that’s why we think it’s important to have two creative perspectives, two individual styles, capturing two stories unfolding simultaneously and all those moments, that come and go, quicker than you can say “I do”.

Conversations over coffee. FaceTime. A Phone Call. Or even just WhatsApp.

We'll meet for a coffee (dont worry its on us) and have a friendly chat about you. You two as a couple and what you want from us on your Special Day. From the itinerary of the day, the list of important photos mum will moan at you to get, To all the important names we should learn. Everything we need to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

It’s not just a Day.

It's the years that have led up to this special day, where you find yourself surrounded by all of your favourite humans. All those that love, cherish and share memories with you. The laughter, the school days that seem a life time ago, those deep chats on drunken nights and that trip to Ibiza in 1996. All those previous life experiences you’ve shared with your closest friends and family members have all lead to this day. Oh, and all your hard work, endless nights stressing about the smaller details from table decorations to placement of flowers. Unravel all those memories into one day and you've got yourself a Wedding Day. No detail or emotion will go unnoticed. We know, it’s more than just a day....it's your Wedding Day.

We don’t say CHEESE.

We can’t think of anything worse on your Wedding Day than being told to smile or to say 'cheese' (who even started that?!) Our jobs as wedding photographers is to capture everything unfolding as naturally as it happens. Beautiful candids of your guests that convey laughter and emotion between friends and family. But of course if we do get caught, we might ask for a cheeky pout ;) Let us capture your story while you enjoy your day!

Getting the whole Family together.

We're both experienced family portrait photographers. Trust us when we say a posed shot doesn't have to be posey! No one likes having their picture taken, however this is the perfect opportunity to capture all the individual personalities of your family members. Fun group shots, 30 minutes, often less, to grab all those important must haves. We'll even do all the shots with Nan first, so she can get back to the bar for her shots!

Your Wedding portraits.

This maybe something you're dreading but don't worry, you look gorgeous and he scrubs up well too doesn’t he?! You will be made to feel comfortable and relaxed so that we can create something fun, beautiful and stunning for you. We'll do our research first and locate the best photography spots at your venue, the weather and the best light. We'll take you away from the madness you've created and give you the perfect amount of time to take a breath, soak it all up and embrace your day, whilst capturing a mixture of serious, fun and maybe slightly soppy portraits. Your first portraits together as Man and Wife, the first moments of a lifetime together, those smiles that set a precedent for the wonderful years you have ahead of you.
