Terms and Conditions.
Booking, Deposit and Payment…
To secure your wedding booking we require 25% of the total amount as a deposit and an online booking form must be completed.
The full balance will be payable no later than 4 weeks prior to your wedding day. in case of late notice bookings, all weddings booked less than 4 weeks in advance will require payment in full. These rules are a minimum requirement and we are happy to accept payment in advance of these times. Should this occur then you will always receive an invoice showing the amount paid as proof of purchase.
We will endeavour to contact you 6 weeks prior to your wedding day to request payment of the final balance due.
Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment. We also accept card payments and payments via PayPal, although these methods will incur an additional processing fee of 5%.
An invoice and receipt will be issued on request.
Photographers will not attend the day unless payment has been made in full.
Advertised prices and packages are subject to change without prior notification, however, we will always honour the price at time of booking.
Photography Time…
Your Photographer will be available for the time included in the selected package. Although the option of additional hours is available at a cost of £100 per hour, your photographer has the right to refuse additional hours should you choose to book them on the day and not in advance.
We will discuss arrival and finish time at the time of booking. If there is any specific difficulties with travelling to or finding the venue, you must inform us prior to the date of the wedding.
If we are not ready to start at the agreed time due to our fault, we will still photograph for the agreed time by extending the finishing time (venue permitting).
If the photography does not start at the agreed time, as start time has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances that are not our fault, then the photographers will still end at the agreed time on the booking.
Photos…
The copyright of all images will remain with BOOM Photography and by accepting these terms and conditions you are granting us the right to use any and all images taken on the day for marketing and promotional activities, involving both digital, web and printed material. Although this is the case, we have a great respect for the privacy and protection of our customers and we will ALWAYS avoid using images of children when choosing marketing and promotional material. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions regarding this.
The editing process can take up to 6 weeks, therefore, Complaints regarding images not received within this 6 week time frame will not be accepted.
Damage to Equipment…
Any damage to the Photographers equipment caused by the Wedding Party or guests will be compensated in full by the booking party.
The booking party will be responsible for any loss resulting from theft or damage to the Photographers equipment during a booking.
We accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.
Guest Behaviour…
The booking party is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the start of the event.
We will not accept any threatening or abusive behaviour and should this occur then we will stop the service immediately and leave the wedding without a refund.
Technical Issues / Failure To Supply…
We will always arrive with backup equipment but in the unlikely event of a technical problem with all of the Photographers equipment or events beyond our control a refund will be given pro-rata to any time lost.
The photographers cannot be held responsible for any failure to provide a service of supplies or equipment if the operator has no control over the circumstances which may withhold all or part of the supply. These may include but are not limited to traffic delays, severe weather conditions, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness, equipment failure or any other reason outside of our control.
If we cannot attend or fulfil your photography due to events beyond our control we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances our liability will be limited to a refund of all the monies paid.
Failure to supply due to the venue or client issues will not result in a refund.
All of our bookings are kept on an online calendar, technical faults can happen and although we try to email you around 6 weeks before your wedding, if you haven’t heard from us then please drop us an email.
Insurance…
We carry £1 million public liability insurance.
We are PAT tested yearly.
A copy of insurance details will be provided should the venue request one.
Booking Cancellations…
We understand that your circumstances can change but we would ask for as much notice as possible in the event that you need to cancel your booking.
The 25% booking deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
Any cancellations will be subject to the following cancellation charges:
Within 6 weeks prior to the event date – 50% of the final balance
Within 4 weeks prior to the event date – 100% of the final balance
Acceptance Of Terms and Conditions…
The booking party agrees that upon filling in any enquiry or booking form on the website, and the payment of at least a deposit, the booking party accepts these terms and conditions.
